Brake Pads

Post by steve » Tue Dec 18, 2018 3:35 pm

Just to remind everyone the Pinzgauer 716 and 718 use the VW Brake pads so when you see Pinzgauer brake pads on e bay etc for £100 plus they are available from your local parts place at around £30 a set

May I ask if you know from which VW they used the pads? Volkswagen LT? Or perhaps have a part number?

From memory It might have been brake pads from the VW Corrado Its been a while since I purchased pads for myself. Most customers bring there parts to me or order them from Haflinger Technic.

I just went into local parts place and they copied the pad from their book of brakes which has a large scale drawing of most makes of vehicles brakes.

Hi...just read this tread.... the brake pads are the same ones on the Audi 100 , the discbrakes are specific for the pinzgauer so they can become dificult to find after some time.
